Fortified city
Then you drive through the picturesque Dinteloord. Here you will see, among other things, a nineteenth-century town hall and the Reformed Church from 1693. You cross the river Steenbergse Vliet, after which you drive through Steenbergen. In this former fortified town you can see some beautiful monumental buildings. You will pass the White Church, a neoclassical water management church from 1831.
Fort Henry
In the polders it is nice to make kilometers through a wide landscape. How wonderfully quiet it is here! You cycle a bit along the Scheldt-Rhine Canal, which was opened in 1975 and forms the border between North Brabant and Zeeland. In between you drive to't Wagenhuis for a cozy pit stop on the terrace. Just above Steenbergen you pass Fort Henricus. It was built in 1626 and belonged to the West Brabant Waterline.
