Walking along the forest ranger path in Burgh-Haamstede you will be surrounded by the almost 100 year old pines and many birds. Discover the little goldcrest, listen to the rushing sea and visit the grebes by the water. In the spring the bee orchid colors in a clearing in the forest.

  • From the lookout tower you look out over the forest, the Meeuwenduinen and the sea.
  • In the spring, bee orchid and reed chis bloom around the water of the Boompjesput.
  • Forest birds such as the goldencrest and the spotted woodpecker live among the pines.

The route is on an unpaved path. Dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. The route is not suitable for disabled people.
