Description
During a summer walk through the Schoorlse Duinen you can hear the nightjar rattling in the evening, smell the scent of the pine forest and see the sand lizard on the walking path. Sea, dunes, forest and heath, the North Sea walk treats you to everything that Schoorlse nature has to offer.
- The stairs to the highest dune lead to a view over the Schoorl nature reserve.
- The bird lake in the open dunes is home to all kinds of bird species and the sand lizard.
- On the beach you see all stages of the dune. They grow with the seawater and are allowed to drift freely.
- In the middle of the forest lies the blooming heathland of the Waterbosvlakte.
