Description
Shrub heather, shifting dunes, wet landscapes and forests alternate during a walk on the forest ranger's path in Sint Anthonis. Nature here is still untouched. Enjoy the view from the drifting dunes and discover the many species of songbirds that live here.
Highlights
- In the natural forest there are dead trees of 150 years old where insects now live.
- Marigolds and cuckoo flowers bloom along the pools in the summer.
- From the Broekbos you have a view of the flowering heaths.
- In autumn the heaths turn purple.
- The Scottish highlander grazes in the grazing area.
The route is largely on unpaved paths. There are several benches and seating areas along the forest ranger's path. Dogs are welcome if kept on a lead. Route is not suitable for disabled people.
