Description
Walk along Kroon's polder and along the shortcut in Vlieland and discover the smells, colors and sounds of the Wadden Island. In the spring you can hear the singing of the nightingale and you will encounter the breeding spoonbill. Walk the path and surround yourself with dozens of bird species.
- In the spring, the bluethroat and nightingale hide in the dikes along the polder.
- More than 60 bird species breed in Kroon\\\'s polder.
- Sea lavender and samphire grow in the salty bottom of the salt marsh.
- From the dike you look out over the large Vliehorst sandbank.
- The shortcut leads past the scents and colors of shrubs, honeysuckle, sea horn and four.
