Description
Walk through an undiscovered nature reserve and imagine yourself in the middle of nature during a brisk walk along the path through the Rottige Meente. Discover the black tern, the flowering marsh plants and the beauty of frost and snow during the winter months.
- A variety of plants grow on the water. Sometimes it feels like you can walk over the vegetation.
- The peat hole is full of crab shavings, a characteristic aquatic plant that only grows in clean water.
- The reeds around the Brandemeer are mowed in the winter, grow in the spring and plume in the autumn.
- You will find a bird watching hut at the Brandemeer. Along the waterfront you will find the black tern and the silver, blue and purple heron.
