Walking through the countryside of Budel

At Budel you can take a nice walk through nature and the agricultural area. You walk through the Cranendonckse Bos and along the Boschloop. A beautiful environment.

Cranendonck Forest
Grab a coffee and something tasty on the terrace at Café zaal De Wielerbaan before you set off. In the countryside of Budel you can walk your legs at your leisure. You will soon pass through the Buulderbroek, a wetland with alder swamp forest. Almost unnoticed you will walk through the adjacent Cranendonckse Bos, where you will mainly see pines, oaks and birches. Along the edge of the forest you can look out over rounded fields.

Weert and Budelerbergen
Then you walk on an unpaved path along the Boschloop, a straightened stream. It is wonderfully quiet walking here, ideal for a day of relaxation. On the left is a coulisse forest, on the right you have a beautiful view over the fields. Further on you walk along the edge of the forest of the Weerter- and Budelerbergen. Take a deep breath and inhale the fresh forest air. The last part of the route you walk on car-free roads along a number of beautiful old farms.
