In the rural area of Hilvarenbeek you can take a nice walk through the Gorp Estate. Ideal to relax and enjoy nature.
Gorp
From the starting point you quickly enter Landgoed Gorp. The path leads you past deciduous and coniferous forests, occasionally offering beautiful views over fields and fields. In the hamlet of Gorp you will see several monumental farms and a beautiful hunting lodge from 1870.
Rovertse Leij
Then you walk along the footpath along the Rovertse Leij, an old-fashioned meandering stream. Here you walk through a beautiful area of deciduous trees and rich undergrowth. It is wonderfully quiet here, civilization seems very far away. A refreshing coolness rises from the water. Further on, the forests occasionally make way for small-scale agricultural land, so you experience a lot of variety.
