Description
Take the time to explore Flevoland by bike. On this cycling tour you cycle via Dronten to Biddinghuizen and back in eastern Flevoland. The tour takes you across the third polder that was drained in the province.
The Randmeren
You also cycle through the Randmeren zone, a long area on the east side of Flevoland. You will find all kinds of recreational and water sports facilities around the Randmeren, including the Drontermeer. There is plenty to see and do in this area and it is a bit livelier than the rest of the route. You will find peace and quiet in the beautiful nature in the area. You cycle through young polder forests, such as the Bremerbergbos, with towering poplars. This area is the habitat of all kinds of animals such as deer, foxes and badgers.
