Western Scheldt
At Zee-eterij De Viskêête you can enjoy a coffee and something tasty at the harbour at the Oosterschelde. Then you drive to Oosterschelde Museum Yerseke which is located in the former town hall from 1914. Nearby you also pass the remains of the fourteenth-century Sint-Odulphuskerk. You drive down the Canal through Zuid-Beveland to the Westerschelde, from the dike you have a beautiful view over the water and the ships.
Yerseke Moer
Then you cycle through the countryside of Goes through a landscape of vast meadows and waterways. Ideal to enjoy the peace and forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Past Kattendijke you cycle along the Oosterschelde. Climb the dike for a nice panorama. Further on you cycle through the cozy harbor of Wemeldinge. Finally you cycle through the Yerseke and Kapelse Moer. This old land forms one of the last pieces of authentic Zeeland polder landscape!
