You will experience a beautiful cycling day around Lochem. You ride through forests and past country houses in one of the more beautiful cycling regions of the Netherlands.
House Verwolde
Many special trees grow here. The nobleman's house dates from 1776 and can be visited with a guide. A little later you drive across Ampsen Estate, another beautiful country estate.
The Beekvliet
Just past junction 76 you pass the point where the Slinge flows into the Berkel. Around junction 58 you drive through Landgoed Het Beekvliet. Here you will see a mosaic of farmland, deciduous and coniferous forests, impressive tree-lined avenues and hedgerows. Just past Barchem you drive through the forests of the Grote Veld. Take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh forest air. You drive back to Laren via the attractive Almen.
