From Sittard you make a beautiful trip through the hills and the beautiful villages along the Maas. A day full of variety and sights.
Historic Sittard You ride through the Limburg hills. That is also enjoyable: peace, natural beauty and beautiful panoramas. You descend all the way to Meers, a beautiful village on the Maas. Here you are welcome at Cycling and walking terrace De Witte Borstel.
Born Castle Further on you will pass through the old centre of Urmond. Here you will see the Schippershuis, a beautiful seventeenth-century building in Maasland Renaissance style. A few metres further on is the Terpkerk from the early nineteenth century. The terp is 41 metres above sea level. A little later you will pass Obbicht Castle, a country house from 1780. In Born you will pass Born Castle. There is a nice zoo here, located around a centuries-old castle ruin.
