Description
The beginning and end is the NS station Zaandam.
The walking tour starts in the new city center of Zaandam and then takes you past beautiful nature reserves such as Oostzanerveld, Kalverpolder and Westzijderveld and along the Zaan across the Zaanse Schans. Then immediately visit the interesting Zaans Museum and the Verkade pavilion.
Plenty of restaurants along the way.
The route can be shortened for train travelers by getting on at Zaandijk Zaanse Schans station (halfway between junction 43 and 44) after leaving the Zaanse Schans
