Tour of Vessem and Kleine Beerze

At Mout & Hout Leeuw you can enjoy a coffee with something tasty, so that you can hit the road with enough energy. You first walk a bit through Vessem, then you walk through the Kleine Beerze valley. Initially, this stream still has a straight course, but from junction 46 the Kleine Beerze meanders again as usual. The footpath leads you through an idyllic landscape where you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. You walk along car-free roads past meadows and fields. In the typical Brabant landscape you regularly pass a beautiful farm. You can take a short walk through the forest around the Maaskant hamlet. In Vessem you pass the St. Lambertus Church. The current building dates from 1882, but the history of this church goes back to the Middle Ages.
