Plompetoren In Burgh you pass the partly rebuilt former ring rampart that was raised against robbing Normans at the end of the ninth century. You get a beautiful view of the past here! You then drive through Boswachterij Westerschouwen, the largest forest in Zeeland. From the Plompetoren you have a beautiful view over the Oosterschelde.

Oosterschelde You will also find several water and bird-rich nature reserves along the Oosterschelde. You drive along the Schelphoek, a beautiful creek area that arose from one of the largest dike breaches during the flood disaster in 1953. Further on you pass through the harbor of Zierikzee. Then you can easily drive for many kilometers through the vast polders. Get a breath of fresh air and enjoy the tranquility!
