Description
You can easily experience a wonderful cycling day at Voorne-Putten. You drive beautiful kilometers through Voornes Duin. You will also visit the historic fortified city of Brielle.
Voornes Dune
The route starts at the edge of one of the most beautiful dune areas in the Netherlands: Voornes Duin. You will find dunes, flowery dune grasslands, moist valleys and dune forests. While you drive along the winding paths, you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. That's a downshift!
Stone Baak
You drive through the vast polders on car-free roads. Get some fresh air and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. From a distance you can see the church tower of the fifteenth-century Grote Kerk of Brielle slowly approaching. Just before you reach this old fortified city, you will also notice the old ramparts. In Brielle itself you will find a historic atmosphere, special. Further on you will pass the Stenen Baak, a former lighthouse from 1630 that can be visited at regular intervals.
