Description
Just above Zwolle you can take a nice walk through the countryside. You walk through forests, polders and an old hamlet. Put on your sturdy shoes for a varied tour.
Agnietenberg
First you walk through the forest on the Agnietenberg: a river dune dating from the Ice Age. What is immediately noticeable: the tranquility in this region, wonderful! You then walk along a quiet path along the meadows and a number of creeks that lie on the Overijsselse Vecht. To enjoy!
Westerveldse Bos
You walk through the hamlet of Langenholte, on the village green you will see some beautiful farms. Further on, from the path you look out over a vortex located on the Zwarte Water river. You walk a bit along the Westerveldse Bos, a young nature reserve. You can walk between the meadows to the Wijde Aa, a recreational lake created by sand extraction. It is wonderful to get a breath of fresh air along the banks.
