Description
From Hellevoetsluis you make a nice round over Voorne-Putten. You will find beautiful nature reserves here, such as Voornes Duin and the Brielse Meer.
Brielle Lake
In the polders on Voorne-Putten it is nice to make miles, while cycling along grasslands, creeks and canals. Zwartewaal is a beautiful village. At the Kade you will see a marina and beautiful buildings. Look back for a look at the eighteenth-century warehouse at the head of the harbour. You then cycle a few kilometers along the banks of the Brielse Meer. Get some fresh air!
Harbor Hellevoetsluis
On the edge of Voornes Duin you can get off at Paviljoen de Duinrand. Enjoy a terrace here at your leisure, before you drive further through the nature reserve. How wonderfully quiet it is in this landscape of dune forest, flowery grasslands and humid valleys. You drive through the polders to the harbor of Hellevoetsluis. Here you can visit the Dry Dock Jan Blanken, which was built between 1798 and 1822, a unique experience.
