The Speulder and Sprielder forests

On the Veluwe you will find beautiful old forests, such as the Speulder- and Sprielderbos. You will also drive through the varied landscape of the Gelderse Vallei. A day of enjoyment!

Boeschoterbos
After a refreshing night's stay at Recreatiepark Boslust, you'll be completely refreshed for a beautiful bike ride. On car-free roads, you'll ride through the rural Gelderse Vallei and the forests of the Appelse Heide. On Landgoed Appel, you'll cycle through a beautiful old coulisse landscape with characteristic farms. You'll feel like you've gone back in time here! Just past Voorthuizen, you'll enter the Boeschoterbos. What you'll immediately notice: the silence on the Veluwe!

Wooddorperveld
You will pass through Garderen and Uddel, two agricultural enclaves in the middle of the Veluwe. In Elspeet you can admire beautiful farms and the beautiful sixteenth-century village church. Further on is De Hoop, a corn mill from 1894. The Houtdorperveld is one of the largest heathlands in the Netherlands. You have beautiful panoramas there. From Speuld you drive into the Speulderbos, followed by the Sprielderbos: two centuries-old forests that are known for their dancing trees. Enjoy!
