Boeschoterbos
After a refreshing night's stay at Recreatiepark Boslust, you will be completely refreshed for a nice bike ride. You drive on car-free roads through the rural Gelderse Vallei and the forests of the Appelse Heide. At Landgoed Appel you cycle through a beautiful old scenic landscape with characteristic farms. You really feel like you're back in time here! Just past Voorthuizen you enter the Boeschoterbos. What you immediately notice: the silence on the Veluwe!
Houtdorperveld
You pass through Garderen and Uddel, two agricultural enclaves in the middle of the Veluwe. In Elspeet you can admire beautiful farms and the beautiful sixteenth-century village church. Further on is De Hoop, a flour mill from 1894. The Houtdorperveld is one of the largest heathlands in the Netherlands. You have beautiful panoramas there. From Speuld you drive into the Speulderbos, followed by the Sprielderbos: two ancient forests known for their dancing trees. To enjoy!
