Tour of Halsteren and Tholen from Oud-Vossemeer

Your route starts at Huys van Roosevelt in Oud-Vossemeer. In Halsteren you will pass two striking churches: the fifteenth-century St. Martin's Church and the St. Quirinus Church from 1913. You then cross the Scheldt-Rhine Canal, the waterway that forms the border between Zeeland and North Brabant. You drive through Tholen, this former fortified town has a historic atmosphere thanks to the many monumental buildings. For example, at the end of the Market you can see the beautiful Grote Kerk. You drive through the countryside on narrow, winding roads. You see fields, flowery grasslands and an orchard here and there. It is wonderfully quiet in this sparsely populated area. At the Ring in Oud-Vossemeer you can enjoy the historic atmosphere. The John the Baptist Church dates from the fifteenth century.
