With this route you will experience a beautiful cycling day on South Beveland and Walcheren. A trip full of natural beauty, beautiful places and tranquility.

Veer Lake
From Nieuwdorp you drive into the polder. Get a breath of fresh air while enjoying the wide landscape and the passing clouds. You pass through Arnemuiden, a beautiful town that received city rights in 1574. In the tranquil Kleverskerke you can see the beautiful village church, which dates from 1671. At junction 35 you will pass the Sluis Veere. Just before junction 48 you cycle out of the woods and you have a nice view over the Veerse Meer.

The Pete
On the edge of the Veerse Meer you will pass nature reserve De Piet. After you have passed the monumental lock at Sluis de Piet, you drive into the vast polder. At the ring road in's-Heer Arendskerke you can see the medieval Petruskerk. On the edge of Heinkenszand you will pass the Five Brothers: a beautiful flour mill that was built in 1851.
