Walking through the Limbrichterbos

Your route starts at 't Sjpaorhutje. You can relax in Nieuwstadt, and soon you'll be walking through the countryside. You pass through a small forest around the Rollen fishing pond, a nice spot. Then you walk into the Limbrichterbos. Here fields, meadows and old deciduous trees alternate. On the forest floor you can spot beautiful plants such as spotted arum, wood anemone and musk herb. From the road you can see Grasbroek Castle, which originally dates from the sixteenth century. Then you walk back into the forest, enjoying the peace and natural beauty. You walk along a leafy path along the back of the moated Limbricht Castle, a motte-and-bailey castle. After the Limbrichterbos, a terrace awaits you at 't Sjpaorhutje.
