Germany
You cycle through the Roode Beek valley. You cycle along this watercourse through the Tüdderner Fenn, a quiet deciduous forest. Then you cycle to the Schutterspark on the edge of Brunssum. After a delicious meal at Brasserie Schuttershüske, you drive through the Limburg hills.
Belgium
In Sittard you drive through the historic center, at Hotel Merici it is time for a refreshment or meal. Via Limbricht and Born you drive to picturesque Grevenbricht. You can grab a terrace at Eetcafé Aurora here, before crossing the Maas and thus the border. You drive past Negenoord, a nature development area. You will also pass through beautiful Stokkem, which is located on an old arm of the Maas.
