Description
For centuries, Enter was known as a village of clog makers. As a reminder of that period, the largest clog in the world, made from a single piece of wood, stands on the Brink. The Brink is, incidentally, a real hotspot for experiencing local cultural history. There is no shortage of cultural history in Twente, as further along you drive past the beautiful Twickel Estate. This estate is renowned for its lush gardens and park. Unique to the Netherlands: in the orangery, you can admire a collection of citrus trees. Next, you drive through Delden, a former fortified town. Goor is the last town on your route. Around the Hofkerk, you will find a historic atmosphere here.
