Fancy a lovely walk from Hardenberg in Overijssel to Coevorden in Drenthe? This walk takes you through the green surroundings of the Blauwnet Zwolle-Emmen train line. You walk a bit along the Vecht and then you pass through Gramsbergen on your way.
Peaceful landscapes
Hardenberg train station is the starting point of your journey. From here, you'll walk straight through the town to the green countryside, crossing the Vecht River on a bridge. The landscape around Hardenberg is characterized by unspoiled nature, historic paths, and characteristic farms on the border of the Vecht Valley and the Reest Valley. Here, you'll truly feel like you've stepped back in time. You'll walk through this area to Gramsbergen. After about 8 kilometers, you can take a break at Granny's Barn Hadassa Hoeve. In this cozy teahouse in Ane, you can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or tea with a treat.
Further on the road through Gramsbergen
Then you'll walk past the Vechtdal Gramsbergen Information Centre and Gramsbergen Train Station, continuing towards Coevorden. You'll mostly walk through peaceful landscapes, dotted with farms. Fancy a bite to eat along the way? Pancake Farm De Ganzenhoeve is a great option. Your walk will end at Coevorden Train Station.

Before you catch the train back home, you'll naturally take a look around Coevorden.
