Description
From Hotel Restaurant't Wapen van Marion you can drive straight into Voornes Duin. Here you can enjoy one of the most species-rich dune areas in Western Europe for many kilometers. In addition to beautiful dunes, you will find flower-rich grasslands, moist valleys and dune forests here. How quiet it is here, ideal for a day of relaxation! In between you will make a stop at Restaurant Aan Zee, a sustainable and cozy spot on the beach. In the old harbor of Hellevoetsluis you can see the eighteen-meter high lighthouse from 1822. You can also admire De Hoop, a flour mill from 1801. After you have crossed the polder, you cycle a long way along the banks of the Brielse Meer. Grab a bench to enjoy the natural beauty.
