Walking in the countryside of Oldenzaal

Between Oldenzaal and De Lutte you can take a beautiful walk of two loops through the rolling Twente countryside. Ideal for a day of relaxation.

Egheria Estate
At Pannenkoekhoes De Stroper you can enjoy a coffee with something tasty, before you set off. The first loop takes you through the wooded Landgoed Egheria. You have beautiful views over the meadows, you also see some characteristic Twente farms. What a beautiful landscape! The estate is located around the Tankenberg: with its 85 meters this hill is the highest point in Overijssel.

The Lutte
About halfway you will return to De Stroper. After a pit stop you will walk to De Lutte. A pleasant village where you can admire some beautiful old buildings. Then you walk through the essen landscape. While you look out over the rolling fields, you can optimally enjoy the peace of Twente. On an unpaved path you walk through the meadows for a while, after which you continue walking in the shade of the large deciduous trees that line the quiet road.
