Almost immediately after boarding, you'll enter Drimmelen. This town is a protected village due to its beautiful and well-preserved old buildings. Then, you'll cycle a few kilometers along the dike that runs along the Amer River. You'll pass the Gat van Den Ham, a creek formed by the St. Elizabeth's Flood of 1421. At the small harbor in Lage Zwaluwe, you can take a break at the Poort naar de Biesbosch restaurant. Across the water, you'll discover the beauty of the Biesbosch National Park. At the Biesbosch Museum, you can learn all about the history and development of this nature reserve. Finally, you'll cycle via Hank to the picturesque Geertruidenberg. At the old market square, you'll see plenty of historic buildings. Enjoy a drink on a terrace at Het Panorama.
