Description

Holysloot, a picturesque village, appears via various fortresses and winding roads. Via a narrow street you reach the meadows and walk towards the Barnegat. It is a paradise for many birds. The grasslands and ditches are teeming with food. Reed collars and swamp groves provide safe breeding and sleeping places.

There are about 20 to 25 cows per plot at farmer Schouten and the cows regularly change pasture to give the grass the opportunity to grow again. The groups are put together based on group dynamics, age and we look at which cows are allowed near the bull and which are not. A calf that drinks from its mother grows to a little finger and after two years the calf is ready to become pregnant for the first time. Pregnant heifers have a gestation period of nine months, just like humans.
