Lovely walk through Ede

Ede is a picturesque town. Ideal to discover on foot. In the pleasant shopping street you will see old buildings, but also a striking gas lantern on a brick base. This national monument dates from 1923 and is a gift from the people of Eden in honor of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the then Queen Wilhelmina. On the Paasberg you will find the Erebegraafplaats Ede, a final resting place for 30 Dutch resistance fighters. The grave monument for Anna Moens, a poet-writer who lived from 1775 to 1832, is also located here. The Oude Kerk is the last point of interest on your route. This building originally dates from the twelfth century, but has been restored several times over the centuries. At Bernardo\\\'s IJssalon you can enjoy a delicious ice cream at your leisure.
