A figure eight through the woods near Hooge Mierde

From here you cycle to Hooge Mierde. In this village you can visit Museum De Bewogen Jaren. You then drive through De Utrecht, a 2,500-hectare estate that was developed in 1898 as a financial investment by the life insurance company of the same name. Further on you will pass through Lage Mierde. After a delicious lunch at your starting point, you cycle to the Kroonvense Heide. In addition to heathlands, you will also come across fens covered with water lilies. You cycle right along the Neerven, the largest fen in the Kroonvense Heide. Then you will discover the Peelse Heide nature reserve. Here you pass the Great and Small Circles, which were an important landmark for pilots during the Second World War.
