Walking route through the Schoorlse Dunes

First you walk through the dense forests of Boswachterij Schoorl. They were created in the nineteenth century, because the residents of nearby Schoorl wanted to prevent their village from disappearing under the drifting sand. On the beach you pass a lagoon that was created here a few years ago. A unique phenomenon in the Netherlands. Restaurant De Bokkesprong at Hans and Stacey is an ideal stop on your route. Take a seat on a terrace here to enjoy something tasty, before you walk back into the Schoorlse Duinen. In this nature reserve you will find the highest dune tops in the Netherlands, which makes walking extra fun. In between you will pass the old Kerkbrink in Groet.
