Walking route through the Schoorlse Duinen

First you walk through the dense forests of Boswachterij Schoorl. They were constructed in the nineteenth century because the residents of nearby Schoorl wanted to prevent their village from disappearing under the drifting sand. At the beach you pass a lagoon that was built here a few years ago. A phenomenon unique to the Netherlands. Restaurant De Bokkesprong at Hans and Stacey is an ideal stopover on your route. Grab a terrace here to enjoy something tasty at your leisure, before walking back into the Schoorlse Duinen. In this nature reserve you will find the highest dune tops in the Netherlands, which makes walking extra fun. In between you will pass the old Kerkbrink in Groet.
