Description
PARKING:
This can be done at the official starting point, just on the roadside. There aren't really many other options.
SIGNAGE:
There is one junction on the Hugterweg between the thistles and therefore it is hardly visible which way you should go. You have to go straight there. Other than that I haven't had any problems.
ENVIRONMENT:
I love De Vroolijke Jager and it is also popular with hikers from the region. It is a nice change from the many forest paths, which are also quite varied and easily accessible. The section on the Hugterweg is pleasant for pace walkers, but at some points the cycle path on which you walk is very narrow and there is hardly any room for cyclists to give way. But that is the only criticism of this varied, pleasant walk.
