Around Delft and the Westland

In Westland you cycle through a surprisingly natural environment and in Delft you will find plenty of cultural history. In short, a route full of variety! The route starts at Van der Valk Hotel Delft A4. First you take a tour through beautiful old Delft. Just before Hoek van Holland you drive through the Staelduinse Bos. This special nature reserve is located on a remnant of former estuary dunes and was established as an estate in the nineteenth century. Then you drive for a while between the greenhouses that give Westland its unique appearance. It is wonderfully quiet here, just like in the Kraaiennest nature reserve and the surrounding polders with their vast grasslands. You cycle along the dunes to the Madestein nature reserve. Also stop off at one of the farm shops!
