The route is based on the book Het Fietserpad by Pol van Mill, Keesjan van Herik and Alphons van Winden.
This route starts in Rolde and runs to the end (or beginning) of Pieterburen on the Groningen mudflats.
Overnight accommodation in Groningen on the Westinghousestraat, hence the diversion.
Overnight place Pieterburen hence the tour Pieterburen to De Hoofdstraat.
