Description
In the countryside of the Brabant village of Diessen you will make a varied walk. You walk through the fields, through the forest of Landgoed De Utrecht and through the Leemputten.
The Utrecht
You will quickly get into your rhythm, as you walk past meadows, fields and beautiful farms. A little later you will walk through the forests on the edge of Landgoed De Utrecht. How wonderfully quiet it is here! Then you walk through the valley of the Reusel. Along the stream you will see meadows, rough areas and deciduous trees. An ideal walking decor!
The Leemputten
Just past Diessen you walk through the Leemputten. Loam was once dug here to bake bricks. The pits that were created filled with water. The management of the Brabants Landschap transformed the ponds into a special nature reserve. You walk through a small-scale landscape of damp forest, scrub and wet grasslands.
