PARKING:
You can do this perfectly at the starting point of the route. There is plenty of parking space there, you can even have a picnic there before or after your walk.
SIGNAGE:
Be warned, it's extremely bad here. I estimate that at about half of the intersections or three-way junctions there is simply no sign. That went wrong for me at junction 88. There you suddenly see two arrows pointing in different directions, but neither is correct. That is also clear, because they point to a road that is not there at all! Here you have to walk straight ahead towards an iron gate and only then you have to turn left. On the route map you can see that you have to turn right somewhere, but I didn't see a single sign so I walked all the way to Molenveld. The signs on these incorrect ones are also often unclear. Simply dramatic! There should definitely be more and clearer signposts here.
DIRECTIONS:
It is quite a pleasant walk up to junction 90, even though there were some large puddles here and there that you can see in the photos. The first part of the road to junction 88 is a well used bridleway which was a combination of mud and horse shit. Certainly not pleasant to walk, especially if it has rained heavily. You have to constantly pay attention to where you take your next step...
The walk through and around Steensel is fun again, but the last part runs (as you can see) right along the A67. The surroundings are beautiful to see, but you have to accept the noise of the A67. When you walk under a viaduct and make the bend to the right, you will come to traffic lights and the route will appear to take you to the right. WRONG! You must walk over the viaduct on the left here. When you have crossed you will see a path on the left running parallel to the cycle path you are walking on. If you pay close attention, somewhere halfway down the descent you will come across a narrow path that leads to that path. You can cut off a piece here, otherwise you will have to walk all the way back to the bottom! That last part is a pleasant ending, by the way.
