Walking through the nature reserve Het Sarsven and De Banen

Just below the Limburg Nederweert you will find the nature reserve Het Sarsven and De Banen. Put on your walking shoes for a special walk. From IJsboerderij Gommers you first walk a bit through the fields. Between the meadows and fields you will quickly get into a nice rhythm. A little later you walk along the Banen, around the banks you will find plenty of special plants such as bankweed, marsh stag's-o'-lantern and creeping marsh plantain. On the east side of this fen there is a bird hut. To the left of the Banendijk you walk through the Vlakwater, an extensive grassy depression that changes into a rough forest plot. Then you walk to the Sarsven through a strip with willow thickets, bog myrtle and dry forests.
