Walking through the Zandbos

The Zandbos is a beautiful nature reserve just outside Deurne. Put on your walking shoes and come experience the beauty of the Zandbos for yourself. At Het Boerenhuis you can first grab a cozy terrace. Be sure to order a piece of the tastiest apple pie from the region with your coffee. Then you walk into the Zandbos. Walk to the Buntven to grab a bench here so you can fully enjoy the silence and natural beauty of this idyllic spot. The Buntven is a natural fen. You walk along the banks of the Vlierbeek for a while, after which you walk through some characteristic hamlets. In the countryside, the route takes you along car-free roads past meadows, fields and a small forest plot.
