Description
Alley Mountain
The forests in this area may not be that well-known, but that doesn't make them any less beautiful! First, you walk through the Steegberg. At the beginning, you will see a few fish ponds, a little later you will walk between fragrant conifers. This forest area was only developed after the Second World War. Just like in other parts of the Peel, there used to be a vast heathland here.
Roadside chapel
Between junction 34 and 32 you have beautiful views over the meadows and fields, while you walk into the Heesberg. In this nature reserve it is wonderfully quiet. Ideal for a chat. The last part of the route you walk on a car-free road through the fields. At junction 20 you pass a characteristic wayside chapel.
