This route takes you through the polders in the Land van Altena and around Raamsdonksveer. You can enjoy the peace and space here. There are many sights to admire in the charming Brabant villages.
Fort Lunet
From the edge of Werkendam you cycle along the Steurgat. From the cycle path you look out over vast meadows. Every now and then you look out over the rippling water, where many pleasure boats sail in the summer. After Hank you cross the Bergse Maas.
Half sole line
In Raamsdonksveer you will pass the Onmoede, a flour mill from 1890. On the edge of Raamsdonk you will pass the fourteenth-century Lambertus Church. Between junctions 12 and 13 you drive on the former Halvezolenlijn. This former railway route runs through the Langstraat: a region with a lot of shoe industry. In Waspik you can see the Bartholomeus Church from 1841 with its striking facade. In the outskirts of Almkerk you will pass the Oude Doornse Molen, a polder mill from 1700.
