Tour of Stiphout (near Helmond)

The official starting point is easy to find, but there are better places to park. There is a sports park with a spacious parking lot on the Gistel, so that is an alternative. Those coming from Nuenen can also turn off at junction 85 and park the car on the dirt road, about 150 meters away.

TRAVEL DIRECTIONS:

This route runs through and around the Warande nature reserve, then to (estate) Croy and then a bit through the quiet streets of Stiphout to eventually return via the Papenvoort forests. Again a nice change of meadows, quiet residential areas and forest area.

SIGNAGE:

It's really bad on a number of points. That's because the stickers with arrows are often pasted in such a way that I hardly understood which way I had to go. That is already the same as the beginning: as soon as you reach the built-up area (from node 67 to 90) you have to turn right!!! The last part was also a mess, because I didn't reach junction 83 anymore. Fortunately, I knew the area well enough to easily find my way to my car, but because it is in the middle of the forest, the chance of endless wandering is considerable. So take a good look at the map!
