Vresselsbossen: Nijnsel / Mosbulten

I apparently took a wrong turn on the way to junction 45 and it took me a good fifteen minutes to find it. Furthermore, it takes a bit of searching here and there, but the signs are always there.

PARKING:

That turned out not to be possible at the official starting point, so I wouldn't start there either. After driving around for a while (I know the area quite well) I arrived at junction 1. The nice thing about it was that I was first allowed to travel quite a few meters along meadows and on paved roads. Then it is just woods and heathland until the end. 

DIRECTIONS:

A pleasant combination of country roads along meadows and winding, fun paths through the Vresselsebossen. It is a popular nature reserve north of Son en Breugel that extends to Nijnsel and Mariahout. A downside is the fact that the route regularly runs over an MTB path. There is even a part where you constantly have bumps and that just doesn't go well, especially if there are also many mountain bikers. So that is something to take into account. It is a beautiful, varied route, although the paths were often somewhat blocked by fallen trees (you can walk around them with some effort). But this is a beautiful piece of nature near Eindhoven.
