Baarle-Nassau
You cycle on low-traffic roads through the rural border region. You drive between fields, meadows and small plots of forest. It is nice and quiet to make miles here. In Baarle-Nassau & Baarle-Hertog you can count how many times you cross the border. The boundaries of the enclaves are visible in the streetscape and sometimes even run straight through buildings.
Visitor Center
Via Gorpeind you drive back to Belgium, where you first pass through Zondereigen. On the edge of Merksplas you drive through a small park that was once an estate. Just before junction 7, you will see a charming former country house from 1888 on the right of the road in this park. In the woods of the Turnhoutse Vennegebied you will pass the visitor center, which is located in the beautiful Kleine Engelandhoeve.
