Walking in the countryside around Mill

In the countryside of Brabant Mill it is lovely to walk. This route takes you through the nature reserve Molenheide and through the farmlands.

Mill Heath
At Brasserie Erica you can first have a drink and a bite to eat, so that you can set off with enough energy. You walk into the forest of Molenheide. It is wonderfully quiet between the Scots pines and American oaks. In the middle of the area you walk over a piece of heathland that is grazed by Scottish Highlanders. Further on you come across a pond, an idyllic spot.

Low Window
At the end of your first loop, you can take a pit stop at Brasserie Erica. After a coffee, you walk along car-free roads between meadows and fields. Every now and then you see a beautiful characteristic farm. You walk a good distance along the Lage Raam, a lowland stream. Next to the stream are untouched grasslands, you will also see some reed strips and plots of swamp forest. At junction 12 you will pass Kasteel Aldendriel, which dates from 1477.
