Tulips are of course the focus of the Tulip Cycle Route this year. You start and end the route on the tulip experience field, especially laid out for the Profytodsd Tulip Festival. Various activities here are dominated by the tulip. During the entire tour you will cycle on reclaimed land, on the bottom of the old
Zuiderzee. The fertile soil is very suitable for growing bulbs. This concerns the production of the bulb, and these bloom profusely during this period.
The route takes you for approximately 38 kilometers past at least 20 thriving production fields that line the road. Good for great photo opportunities and tulip selfies.
