Cycling through picturesque Zeeland-Flemish towns

There are some beautiful old towns in the border area of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and Belgium. This route takes you through Aardenburg and Sint Anna ter Muiden.

Creeks
The route starts in the Flemish Bentille. Here you will see, among other things, the striking St. Eligius Church. In charming Sint-Laureins you can admire the Sint-Laurentius Church. Then you cycle many kilometers along the leafy path along the Leopold Canal. It is nice to pedal here, while you look out over the fields and grasslands. Around Lapbreeke you drive through a rural area with many watercourses and several creeks. It is wonderfully quiet here.

Aardenburg
Sint Anna ter Muiden enjoys a protected cityscape due to the many well-preserved old buildings. What a nice atmosphere you will find here! You can make a refreshing pit stop at D\\\'Ouwe Schuure, before cycling to Sluis. Here you drive around the fortress moat, after which you will find even more history in the picturesque Aardenburg, the oldest town in Zeeland. Here you will see, among other things, the thirteenth-century St. Bavo Church.
