From Ginneken you can walk straight into the Markdal, a beautiful nature reserve. You also walk through the charming village of Ulvenhout.
Ginnekenmarkt
After all, you can see the old Ginnekenmarkt here, a former village market. Here you will see some monumental mansions and the village pump from 1790. The Boerke Verschuren building has a history that goes back to the seventeenth century. The Reformed Church dates from the fifteenth century. You cross the Mark via the Devil's Bridge, the first bridge was built here in 1611.
Ulvenhout
The Markdal is an ideal walking area. Since 2004, the Mark has meandered here again, you walk along reed collars and flower-rich sparse grasslands. How wonderfully quiet it is here! Then you walk through the leafy village street of Ulvenhout. You will pass, among other things, the Korenbloem, a corn mill from 1909. You will also see some monumental buildings and farms. The St. Laurentius Church dates from 1904.
