From Ginneken you can walk straight into the Markdal, a beautiful nature reserve. You can also walk through the charming village of Ulvenhout.
Ginneken Market
After all, you see here at the old Ginnekenmarkt, a former village market. You see here some monumental mansions and the village pump from 1790. The building of Boerke Verschuren has a history that goes back to the seventeenth century. The Reformed Church dates from the fifteenth century. Via the Duivelsbrug you cross the Mark, the first bridge was laid here in 1611.
Ulvenwood
The Markdal is an ideal walking area. Since 2004, the Mark meanders here again, you walk along reed beds and flowery poor grasslands. How wonderfully quiet it is here! Then you walk through the leafy village street of Ulvenhout. You pass, among other things, the Korenbloem, a corn mill from 1909. You also see several monumental buildings and farms. The Sint-Laurentiuskerk dates from 1904.
