Walking around Grubbenvorst

The route starts just outside Grubbenvorst. You can take a tour between the meadows and fields on roads where there are hardly any cars. Soon you will also pass through some small forest plots. It is wonderfully peaceful to walk here. Ideal for a day of relaxation and enjoying the natural beauty. You walk to Grubbenvorst, a beautiful village on the Maas that is easy to explore on foot. First you pass the Our Lady's Assumption Church. There has been a church here since the fifteenth century. The current building was built after the Second World War, because its predecessor was too damaged by war. Take a break at Ice Cream Parlor Clevers Grubbenvorst, beautifully situated on the village square of this nice town. You walk back through the fields to your starting point.
