Three Valley Tour

Walking in the Bergisches region is a natural experience: water everywhere, streams splashing down from the mountains, hiking trails through the dense forest. The road is always also a search for the numerous relics from early industrialization, they are waiting to be discovered.

Today, the three historically important waterways in the region - Wupper, Morsbach and Eschbach - are connected by walking paths with the theme of the beginning of industrialization.

Info posts at the beginning and at several starting points along the route provide information with text and maps and provide insight into the stations on the route. Yellow markings lead the way, blue signs along buildings, balustrades and posts indicate that which has been hidden or disappeared, tell about people, machines, structures and interesting things to know in the landscape.
